The Name

What is The Lion & the Lamb?

The name comes from one of the most stunning moments in all of Scripture — Revelation 5. John weeps because no one is found worthy to open the scroll. Then he is told: "Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah… has conquered." And when he looks, he sees a Lamb — standing as though it had been slain.

The Lion. The Lamb. Power and sacrifice. Sovereignty and surrender. Two images that seem like opposites, held together in a single Person.

This app exists to trace that thread — from Genesis to Revelation, from promise to fulfillment — so that every reader can see what John saw: a God who is both fierce and gentle, sovereign and self-giving, the beginning and the end.

"The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory…"

The Format

OT × NT

Every Drop pairs a passage from the Old Testament with its fulfillment in the New Testament. Not loosely — with precision. These connections are embedded in the text itself, placed there by authors writing centuries apart, pointing to the same Person.

The format is simple: two passages, side by side, with brief commentary on why the connection matters. No academic jargon. No watered-down devotional content. Just the Word — in every light.

Three Drops per week. Enough to build a rhythm. Short enough to read in two minutes. Deep enough to sit with all day.
