The Lion and the Lamb Bible App is committed to making Scripture accessible to everyone — including people with disabilities. We work to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

Current Accessibility Status

What We've Built In

• All pages include a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users
• Navigation landmarks (main, nav, header) are used throughout
• Decorative elements use aria-hidden="true"
• Interactive elements have visible focus outlines
• Form inputs have associated labels
• Color contrast ratios meet WCAG AA minimums (4.5:1 for body text)
• The app is usable without a mouse
• Touch targets are sized for easy mobile interaction

Known Limitations

• The Drop swipe reader is primarily touch/mouse driven — we are working on keyboard-based navigation for slides
• Some older Drop pages may have incomplete ARIA roles — being updated progressively
• AI Search results do not yet have a live region announcement for screen readers

Our Commitment

We believe the Word of God should be accessible to all. We actively audit and improve the app's accessibility with each new release. If you encounter a barrier, we want to know about it immediately.
