Welcome to The Lion and the Lamb Bible App. By accessing or using our app at thelionandthelamb.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, starting a free trial, or subscribing, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

The Lion and the Lamb Bible App provides curated biblical content ("Drops"), a full Bible reader, and an AI-powered Scripture search tool. Content is available in two tiers:

Free: Drops 001–003, Bible reader, and Find a Verse
Subscriber: All Drops, AI Scripture Search, and future releases ($7/month)

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Free Trial: New subscribers receive a 24-hour free trial. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends. After the trial, your subscription automatically renews at $7/month.

Subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled.
You may cancel at any time through your Stripe billing portal or by contacting support.
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Prices are in USD. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

4. Charitable Giving

50% of every monthly subscription is donated to charity. The recipient charity is selected by us and may change from time to time. Donations are made on a collective basis and are not tax-deductible by individual subscribers. We will publish giving updates periodically on our Giving page.

5. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on this app — including Drop text, commentary, images, design, and branding — is owned by or licensed to The Lion and the Lamb Bible App and is protected by copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.
Bible text used in the app is from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®) and other translations as noted. Scripture quotations are used under license.
AI Search outputs are generated content and should not be used as theological authority.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to circumvent subscription paywalls
Scrape, copy, or redistribute app content at scale
Interfere with or disrupt the app's infrastructure
Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Biblical content is provided for spiritual and educational purposes and does not constitute theological or professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Lion and the Lamb Bible App and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data or subscription access.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Broward County, Florida.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
